AI ( Artificial Intelligence ) - The beginning or the end!!!

Since the advent of computer, man has become more lazy, incompetent but effective. We had always wanted to make our work easy. AI is the era defining technology which is under development. Mega Tech companies like Google and Microsoft are extensively researching about the possibilities and the applications of the same. The logic is to attain a system which is untouched by human corruptions. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE aims to reduce the work load on human beings but also cuts jobs. If an computer can do the work of an human being just like him. Same thought process or in fact better.!!!

Applications

We are looking at better assistants, better law and order, better judges and lawyers, basically every job could be done by by someone who was programmed. We could could create an environment in which all the tough jobs are handed over to the robots having AI. We could all live longer healthier lives,  But.....

Risks??

This type of program will be a self-writing program as it will have to generate responses in real time as the creators can not pre-record every response. At this point we all have seen Matrix, I robot, Avengers 2 etc these all give a tinge of fear, and rightly so. We have to put a leash on them as with their level of access they can be virtually indestructible..

Conclusion

We are close but no that much that we can replicate the human brain as it also remains one of the most mysterious things we have ever encountered, the fact that we are thinking about this particular thought with our brain, makes the statement almost ironic.

Over the course of the last fifty years, the artificial intelligence research field spurred immense features that are not conceived as AI by the general public. Most of our online endeavors include forms of AI (virtual agents, pattern recognition, targeted advertising). However, all that has been done so far is a mere grain of sand in reference to the predicament for the sandy future.
Consequently, authorities have predict at least fifty more years of trial and error in order to emulate human intelligence. It is simply too broad and complex of a subject to be resolved in a short period of time. However, the advances that were made during the quest so far have influenced and shaped the world we live in greatly.

Facebook Shut Down An AI Program That Developed Its Own Language

Facebook might have accidentally gotten a little closer to answering Phillip K. Dick’s 1968 question of whether androids dream of electric sheep. The social media giant just shut down an artificial intelligence program after it developed its own language and researchers were left trying to figure out what two AIs were talking about. The AIs had found a way to  negotiate with one another , but the way they debated used English words reduced to a more logical structure that made more sense to the computers than to their human observers. What at first looked like an unintelligible failure to teach the AIs to talk instead was revealed as a result of the computers’ reward systems prizing efficiency over poetry. There are plenty of computer “languages” developed by humans to help computers follow human instructions: BASIC, C, C++, COBOL, FORTRAN, Ada, and Pascal, and more. And then there is TCP/IP, which helps machines “communicate” with one another across computer networks. B...

Time Travel : The Mystery Of All times

Many have dreamed of figuring out how to travel in time—and dismissed it as impossible. Now, researchers have proposed a mathematical model that makes time travel possible, using concepts of Einstein’s theory of general relativity coupled with the hypothesis that time is not a separate dimension. We think of the universe as being made up of three spatial dimensions, and a fourth dimension representing time. But mathematician Ben Tippett at the University of British Columbia, Canada, says this is wrong. He believes time should not be separated from other three spatial dimensions—instead all four run together, simultaneously. “It is because time and space are attached together that the time machine to behave in this way,” EINSTEIN’S THEORY AND EQUATIONS:  Einstein's theory of special relativity says that time slows down or speeds up depending on how fast you move relative to something else. Approaching the speed of light, a person inside a spaceship woul...
